ECHO – Boiler repair & replacement -

ECHO (Emergency Central Heating Offer) is a scheme that offers emergency assistance to vulnerable households to repair or replace broken or condemned boilers. This is a scheme available to residents living in privately owned homes Northamptonshire who are in a ‘no heat’ situation.

To qualify a person living in the home can either be;

1. ECO – in receipt of Help to Heat ECO qualifying benefits (check ECO list with Ofgem)

or

2.  ECO FLEX – low income & vulnerable to cold via our Northants Warm Homes ECO Flex eligibility (check here for low income threshold).

Over winter a lack of heating and hot water can have a severe impact on the health and wellbeing of those most affected by the cold.

ECHO is provided by AgilityEco along with its partners and funded by five energy companies through the Warm Home Discount Industry Initiative Scheme.  ECHO is delivered in collaboration with local agencies providing support to fuel poor or vulnerable residents.​​ This scheme is operating whilst funding is still available (so subject to change).
